Just imagine, lovely English style gardens, abundant bird life with beautiful views of the Huon River and beyond. That's just on the outside. This grand old 1920's home has been lovingly restored and provides modern facilities whilst retaining features of a bygone era.
Enjoy a complimentary afternoon tea on arrival, before retiring to one of two beautifully furnished bedrooms, both with queen sized beds and ensuites. Electric blankets, hairdryers and TV are all supplied in the large rooms. Relax in front of the log fire in the guest lounge while watching a video with a cuppa or just read one of many books and magazines provided in a private sun/reading room.
A generous continental breakfast with home made breads and jams is provided either in the dining room or on the front balcony overlooking the gardens to the Huon River. No facilities are shared with ourselves, as you have your own spacious ensuite bathroom, tea/reading room and huge guest lounge with a wonderful river outlook. Perfect for a romantic retreat. Donalea is more than just a place to stay...it's your home away from home with complete privacy if preferred.
